Mindful eating is not any sort of diet or eating plan………the way I feel is as if it’s got some sort of spiritual benefit. And this book talks of eating to benefit just more than a person’s health. No multitasking while eating, that I agree with!The writer shows a great deal of respect for food! That is not a funny thing; actually that is how it should be. I agree with every single word that is written here…. Chew your food properly, sit and eat, focus on the bites etc. etc. The writer here really shows all the points in life that we tend to ignore about food. Though this book is a bit short, I still like it mainly because I can personally agree with what is written.
When I first bought this book, I thought really that it was one of those dieting or meditating type books. But this was more…like bringing me to reality!

Most of the book contains basic information that I already knew but I needed to be reminded of. Reading this book will keep me on track and increase the enjoyment of eating while I reprogram myself in believing that food is not my enemy. I look forward to seeing the scale go in the right direction and I stop battling the up again, down again weight issues.
This book is telling me how to control my gastronomic urges. I love to eat and I have the body to prove it. I still feel guilty sometimes. I still want to eat healthy but yeah, I am not a mindful eater. This book is telling me to get into perspective and to toughen my act when it comes to food. I would say it needs a lifetime change. This book is telling me to do so by being mindful of what I eat.
Mindful eating is a new concept for me. The practice of mindful eating is a slimming down of your food choices but it's also a fulfilling way to feel healthier and happier. When you start mastering the way of mindful eating, you'll gain so many pluses and not inches. Your digestion will improve and you'll really appreciate what you do decide to put in your mouth. This book is a perfect guide which describes in detail about every aspects of mindful eating. Master it and keep healthy.
